With this new post on my blog I now officially begin yet another New Years resolution. I’ve wanted to have my blog running for some time now, however, I’ve always created one excuse or another why I couldn’t start. I don’t like to begin something which I foresee not being able to complete. Within the last few months I’ve had a number of opportunities to create and edit websites with WordPress and each time I did work on someone else’s page I kept wondering to myself why I wasn’t doing the same kind of work on my own blog. Well, a new chapter has begun and hopefully I will be able to keep up with this goal of having my blog fresh and up to date.
There are many projects and events which take place in my life every day which I can write about. Life is never boring (period) :). I would love to share with you how the Lord is working in my life and hopefully It will encourage you as you also serve the Lord. Each day the Lord is abundantly good to me. The last couple days I really had it in my heart to encourage some of the teen guys who have been a part of my life, so I found these cool little booklets on Etsy which served as the perfect way to write them a note and give them a clever way to encourage them to note some things which God teaches them in his devotional time.
Well, I will now conclude my first post for the New Year of 2012. I will end this post with the challenge I left with my teen friends.
John 15:9 – “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.“
