Last month I had the opportunity to spend three weeks in Pennsylvania visiting my future husband, future in-laws, my future home, and my future church family. Sometimes it felt like a blur as we scurried to accomplish as much as possible during that short time. And yes! We did accomplish a lot!
If you know Benjamin and I, you know that we like to work on projects. It’s really exciting to think of working on projects together! As of right now, we have a lot of projects we’re working on, separately and together. One of the big projects is our new home. I finally got to see my future home! 🙂 Walking up to the front door was so exciting as I imagined what it will be like to make this home my own. It’s still very much in the project stage, but we’ve envisioned some wonderful things and they are well on their way to being accomplished! I was excited to be able to be involved with the project during the time I was there. Hudson and I took on the wallpaper armed and ready with the steamer! Yes…we prevailed and it’s all gone. 🙂 I cannot help but give praise to the Lord for all that He has allowed us to do in making our new home beautiful. I pray we’ll be able to use it to serve Him in as many ways as possible.
One of the big events during my visit was a Bridal Shower given by Mrs. Hall at LVBC. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the love shown to me that day. I came away feeling so blessed! Ben’s mom and sisters, along with some of the ladies of the church, made the day absolutely beautiful and one I will never forget.
Benjamin and I had a lovely three weeks together as we drew even closer as a couple. We are so excited that we won’t need to say goodbye again and in just a short time we’ll be exchanging vows. God has been SO good to us….I can’t express that enough.
