Be Steadfast in the Scripture

1 Corinthians 15:58 says , “Therefore my beloved brethern, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

God never promotes the lifestyle of a double minded man. The man who receives the praises from God is the man who is unmoved by the world and stands firm upon the teachings from Christ. People of God will hear the challenges to live holy time and time again from the pulpit and will hear what is taught, but do not heed the teaching to be steadfast. Their determination to remain steadfast remains as long as the temptation is distant.

Steadfastness is the discipline to remain unwavering admits any form of oppression to do move. The teachings of Christ never change from situation to situation, but we sometimes change the meaning to fit our desires. My challenge to you is to be a hearer and doer with the teachings of scripture that come from your pastor.

Hear what God says from His Word and DO IT!
