Thai Food

So I’ve begun to prepare for Thailand by searching for some Thai recipes. If anyone has any good ones (I know several of my readers have gone to Thailand before) I would love to try them! Tonight I made Pork Satay with Thai noodles and Garlic Butter Green Beans. Not exactly on the healthy side, but delicious either way!

On a different note, on Monday I have an appt. to meet with the oral surgeon to see about getting my wisdom teeth taken out. 🙁 After watching Josh go through this a few months ago, I am NOT looking forward to this whole process. But it must be done, and frankly I’m glad to get it over with.

  1. Oooh, looks yummy!

May I offer a suggestion? Please, please, please wait until Thailand (if you can) to get your wisdom teeth out:). I got three of mine out in Bangkok in 2007 and then the last wisdom tooth a month ago when we were in Chiang Mai. Total cost was $120 for all four and I never experienced any swelling. I did have to have surgery for two of them and that meant stitches for a week, but it really wasn’t bad at all.

Lots of people who go to work with the Gaudets have their dental work done in Thailand. My husband even had two crowns done a month ago and the dentist did an amazing job:). Just a suggestion;).

  2. Thanks for the advice! I don’t know if I can wait that long (the pain’s pretty bad right now) but I will know more after I have my appt. on Monday. I definitely won’t pass up such a good deal if I can help it! 🙂
